Standard MMM Markets: How to apply
- All NEW stallholders must download:
- Stall Holder Application Form
- Terms & Conditions Agreement
- Applicants must complete the application form and the Terms & Conditions Agreement, and together with images submit via email: seddonmarket@hotmail.com
- Food stall/skincare products must also submit a copy of their relevant documents – see Terms & Conditions Agreement (no application will be assessed without these documents).
- Applications will be assessed against the selection criteria, and applicants will be notified with 28 days via email.
- All successful applicants are added to the approved stallholder list and will be invited to apply for future markets/events.
Application Criteria
All applications will be assessed on the following criteria
The selection of stall holders for the market is based on the following five criteria:
- Hand-made or crafted by the stall holder
- High quality of work
- Fits product diversity
- Uniqueness or creativity of the product
- The preference is for the artist/craftsperson to live or work within the City of Maribyrnong
Food Stalls - additional criteria:
- Food products must be part of the ‘gourmet’ genre
- All food items must be sold in sealed packaging with the ingredients list securely attached
- Packaging must be of the highest standards of presentation and photos of all products must be supplied.

The MMG will host a market on the following dates in 2010

Sun 24 Jan 2010 - Footscray Community Arts Centre ~ Long Weekend (past)
Sat 20 March 2010 - Seddon Uniting Church Grounds (past)
Sat 15 May 2010 - Seddon Uniting Church Grounds (past)
Sat 17 July 2010 - Footscray Community Arts Centre(past)
Sat 11 Sept 2010 - Seddon Uniting Church Grounds (next MMM)
Sat 20 Nov 2010 - Seddon Uniting Church Grounds & Harris Reserve
All approved stall holders will be emailed an invitation to apply for the above market dates.
- To apply for market date/s, please respond to the invitation via email - indicating your selection. No guarantees can be given that there will be a place available at each market that you specify, as there are a limited number of sites available at each market.
- An invoice will be emailed to advise which date/s you have been allocated.
- Payment for all market dates booked will be required 2 weeks prior to your first market date.
- All markets booked and paid in full will be emailed a site map for the upcoming market 1 week prior to the event. Please note – stall sites are allocated differently for each market (depending on stallholders) – so you may be in a different spot each time.
